Your Hosts - Andrew & Stefanie Hoy

Olympic medallist and internationally renowned equestrian Andrew Hoy, together with his wife Stefanie Hoy, will host an unforgettable seven-day horse riding safari through the spectacular landscapes of Kenya’s Maasai Mara. This exclusive adventure offers a rare opportunity to experience one of Africa’s most iconic wilderness regions alongside two of the equestrian world’s most respected horsemen and hosts.

Designed for experienced riders seeking a truly extraordinary journey, the safari combines thrilling daily rides with luxurious camp accommodations, exceptional wildlife encounters, and the unique camaraderie that comes from sharing such a remarkable experience with a small group of like-minded adventurers.

Andrew and Stefanie will bring a wealth of equestrian knowledge, passion, and adventure to the journey, creating an experience that extends far beyond a traditional safari. Their personal involvement ensures guests enjoy not only world-class riding but also insights into horsemanship, travel, and the extraordinary natural environment surrounding them.

About your itinerary

This one-off horseback safari offers a unique way to experience Kenya’s wildlife and landscapes. Over seven days, riders will traverse vast open plains, following ancient wildlife migration routes, and witnessing the breathtaking beauty of the Maasai Mara from horseback.

Travelling on horseback allows riders to explore the bush at a slower pace, getting closer to wildlife encounters with elephant, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, as well as Big Game Cats, providing a perspective that few travellers experience and offering a deeper connection with the natural environment.

Each day is led by experienced guides who provide insight into the local ecology, wildlife, and culture. Along the way, you'll stay in comfortable mobile camps, enjoying warm hospitality and excellent Kenyan cuisine, with evenings spent relaxing under African skies, sharing stories around the campfire, and enjoying the warm hospitality for which Kenya is famous.

The itinerary concludes with a transfer to Nairobi, bringing to an end an active and memorable safari experience that combines adventure, wildlife, and an authentic exploration of Kenya's world famous landscape.

Our Chosen Partner - Right to Play (Sole & Official Charitable Partner)

Founded by Olympic gold medallist Johann Olav Koss, Right To Play is a global charity that protects, educates, and empowers children to rise above adversity through the power of play. For more than 25 years, the organisation has worked in some of the world’s most challenging environments, helping children affected by conflict, displacement, poverty, and inequality develop the skills and confidence they need to thrive.

Today, Right To Play reaches millions of children and young people across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Indigenous communities in Canada. Its innovative programmes use sport, games, and play-based learning to improve educational outcomes, support emotional well-being, promote gender equality, and help children build resilience, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

This exclusive horse-riding safari in Kenya, hosted by Stefanie and Andrew Hoy, is proud to support Right To Play through fundraising and awareness-building initiatives. By joining the adventure, guests will not only experience the remarkable landscapes, wildlife, and equestrian heritage of Kenya but will also help provide vulnerable children around the world with opportunities to learn, grow, and flourish. Together, we can harness the power of play to create brighter futures for the next generation.
